Another successful recruitment... Maybe.

After recruiting members at freshman orientation, we have received fifty (50!) cards indicating interest in joining. We'll have to wait until the first meeting next week to see how many actually come... Fingers crossed!

Baker High FBLA Summer Activities

Our chapter managed to stay busy this summer with Nationals, our first ever Relay for Life team, and our summer Officer planning meetings. Not to mention the fact that we held a dance that raised over $300 for our chapter!

Participating in the Relay for Life was one of the coolest, most-touching things that I have ever done. Baker High FBLA represented BHS well, and it is extremely humbling to know that we helped contribute to taking this awful disease down.

We also wrote our POW this summer. We are all so excited for this upcoming year and all of the wonderfully fun things that we have planned!

NLC 2015 Recap

This was absolutely the greatest experience that I have ever had. First of all, Chicago is the farther I've ever been away from home. Second of all, PEOPLE. PEOPLE EVERYWHERE

I was a little sad that I didn't place, but I'm so grateful that I got the opportunity to compete at the NATIONAL LEVEL. That still blows my mind.

Not to mention, it was extremely fun getting to bond with my fellow Oregon FBLA State Officers! The trip definitely made us grow closer as a team.

And I got to see the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art! I can check that off my bucket list now.

What now? Well I guess I have to wait until NLC 2016! Atlanta, you better get ready!
